Anyone know anything about 3rd person view? How to do it? Was it intended by Raven? Is it a cheat? Just curious as I have seen peeps talking about it.

I know it is a first person shooter. However, I have seen people talking about it and they showed someone else and the person that got it shown to them was quite impressed. They used target chat to tell only that person, so I didn't get to see how they binded it. So, I know it is possible, just want to know more about it from the experts here at Raven.

this is on the quake 3 engine and I think quake 3 has a cheat that enabled the 3rd person view.. u might google for it and it might work, but I dunno

is third person only accesable by cheats???.. i was on a server and everyone was braggin about how cool it was..... but when i tryed it said cheats weren`t enabled? am i right that it`s only for the cvar hack or is it possible??

some people think is a cheat cuz u could bind the keys and use it to look around corners.. it give you a little advantage... but i`m sure it hard as #### to play

if you want to know if someone is round a corner, try this . . . stop, listen, you can hear their footsteps, easy eh! stealth and judgement is just as good a weapon as any. and practice of course!!! DA

Tho I must admit one of the most important skils in SoFII is stealth and subterfuge
