At first I didn't care about it, then I saw someone using it with binds.  They could crouch behind a wall (finca, right side of pool, low wall leading out from right tunnel), and see people coming through the raised flower beds without standing up.  Once close enough they would switch to first person, and pop up with the shottie.  One shot to the chest/face and it would be over.  It was totally unfair and complete BS.  

To ask the same question once again, "What fun is it to not play on a level playing field?"

I just don't understand how cheating could be fun for more than five seconds.  LOL, guess some people take their game ego's way too seriously.

For the last time, this is a FIRST person shooter so why do I have to #### around with people using 3rd person view? This game was never intended for 3rd person view, and the level designer didnt create the levels for it. But its bullocks to talk about this matter anyways, since its gone in the next patch.

It's a cheat and it will be gone.

anyone here play the expansion pack for elite force?? raven put 3rd person to great use there

they made a level in it done completly over head and the maps was a bit like a mase in parts, really quite cool.

but in this game they only use for it is testing maps/models etc

I agree that cheating *does not* need to be enabled to activate the 3rd person view. I have it bound to 3rd person (v) 1st person (B) and it works on all servers. Why is it there? Because I tried it once after I was given the binds in a late night game, there was just the two of us and it sucked. I forgot it was still there until I read this post and it will be deleted from my config file next time I am in there. If you want to understand what it looks like imagine the view when you are ghosting a player. Now imagine its like that all the time and no crosshair to aim with. Thats about it. It has to be considered a cheat by those who play in the spirit the game is intended. I look at it his way, *if it cannot be done in real life then its not intended to be in the game*. You *CAN* look around corners with it activated though thats the only benefit the cheat could get from it.

It sucks like bunny hopping and I will be glad if its taken out with the next patch. Maybe the next patch can filter words like "camper" "cheat" "Aimbot" out of the game as well so we dont have to see them every five secs in a game, that pees me. I was actually called a cheat the other day for the first time. Oh deep joy, I must be getting better  

I see no reason for this thread to continue. The original posters question has been answered. It's a cheat and it will be removed.
