This sucks a donkey's left nut you know that? If I were to talk all nicy nice I'd be ignored like all the others, and if I talk like I did (which by the way is the way I always talk, I don't really care if you beielve that or not) I get my posts deleted and I get threats to be banned if I continue. I've had a pretty crappy day today, my entire day has been ruined and why? Because YOUR game will NOT work. I personally beleive that I am the only person with the RIGHT to ruin my day, so when somthing else does it kinda pisses me off. Now if I had waited till tomorrow to post my post would have been calmer and with very few profanities, but I was extremly angry with you people and your games not working, and decided not to wait. Probably was a bad idea but I'm not going to dwell on that right now. You do have to admit though, I got more attention alot faster than if I had posted tomorrow and been calmer. I'm not posting this to try and "save my ass" because even if you do ban my IP I have an alternative dialup I can use to come back if I choose to, so I really don't care THAT much if you ban me. The reason I'm posting this is more to say what I feel I gotta say. Just in case this ISN'T deleted as the rest was, I still have my problem and if you have a solution for it feel free to let everyone else in on the secret. I'll go back under my rock now, I've let enough anger vent. But I gotta tell you I have massive problems conrtolling my anger, and FPSs are my main way to vent, and when I don't get my "anger management classes" it often results in things such as my earlier posts. I do kinda of feel the need to apologize for that, but then again I do feel the need to feck with you guys some more for wasting so much of my time. So I suppose for now it's about even. By the way I'll add that nothing in this post was "abusive" or "frofane", so you really have no reason to delete this unless you just feel like messing with me. Well back to the darkness with me...

dude......  honestly you... have a really screwed up system if you cant play the game .. i   ran it    on a p 3 500 wi9th a  gefroce 2 mx  ..yea the video ran a bit slow at points  .. then i popped in a gefroce 3  128 meg card ...but  man    it  ran  fine   for that old ass system

runs great on my p 3 933 system BTW  .. you want to  yell and complain .. talk to the guy who built  your system

All I can say is that the game DOES work. I don't know why it doesn't for you, but it does for me. Very nicely, I might add.

Dude I built my pc, it's a AMD Thunderbird 900 w/ 512mb RAM a geforce 2 vid card and a 30 gig hd with 10 gig free space. It runs perfectly, has for 5 years and will run perfectly until I receive my 1ghz cpu I should be getting soon, which I will upgrade to and THAT pc will work fine for years. I meet all the requirements plenty, though that has nothing to do with my complaint which is that I cannot see any servers, that of course is either a problem with the game or my internet connection. However it is not my net connection because I can ping the master server just fine, with no packet loss. So it must be somthing wrong with the game. I'm going to try to reinstall it if I don't get any help from you guys, though I know that's not going to help because I've seen posts from people saying they reinstalled 4 times with no result.

#1 Last I checked this was the only SoF2 forum around, so...

#2 The game worked fine (well "ok") up until today, and the fact that I did not change any settings in between when it worked and when it didn't, that means it's not anything I did, so it's either somthing ya'll did or something the game did on it's own, because I sure didn't tell it to stop seeing servers

#3 I have done nothing wrong yet since I was warned so deleting this thread will only result in a very pissed off person lurking around with access to a non-static IP, and you really don't want that do you?

#4 You my freind are the idiot in my eyes, I was never asked to present a system config or asked what version I installed or ANYTHING as such, so don't get off on some crap about how I "won't" present them, because by definition if I "won't" do somthing it means I was asked to and refused, when I was never asked to give any information. Please go to the library and check out a book, it's come out kinda recently so you may not have heard of it yet but it's a really good read, it's called the "dictionary", might wanna invest some time into it.

I got my copy from a freind, he could not use it as his pc sucks ass (vid card to be precise) and he did not have the maual anymore when he gave it to me, we think his little brother buried it in the backyard.

As I already said my pc does NOT suck, it's pretty good for a 5 year old pc.

I don't beleive I said anytihng about your server being down, AS A MATTER OF FACT I said the opposite, that I could ping the server (with windows command prompt) yet not connect to it in the game.

If I have a system configurizaion problem then why is it that nothing was changed by me (the only user of this pc) yet somthing is different about the game now? My system is the same as it was yesterday and yet the game does not work correctly. Confounding aint it...

By the way I think I should mention that milk is fairly high in fat, hightens the creation of mucas and promotes stomache acid production.

Tone it down and can the threats of lurking. You're not impressing anyone.

So what exactly is your problem? You can't see any servers?
Have you tried "get new list"? Did your "type" get changed to local?
Maybe a firewall issue?

Coming here ranting and raving will get you no where.
Providing all the info you can about your system and your problem will get much better responses.

Oh yeah, one more bit of advice. Don't waste your time or money upgrading from a 900 to a 1gig. Simply not worth it. Still quite a ways behind and you will notice absolutely nothing. Spend your money on a better vid card instead.
Don't bother with the processor til you can afford a new board and jump up a generation or 2.

I'm not trying to impress anybody, I only try to impress people I hold respect for and who's opinion I value, but anyway..

Yes my problem is exactly that, I cannot see any servers. I cannot see any of my favorties I cannot see any of my local servers I cannot see any of the internet servers simply put I cannot see any servers. Also changing it to show empty/full servers doesn't make a difference, neither does changing the gametype. I cannot connect with an IP either, nor can I connect to my own server which I run quite often, and no one else can connect to my server either.

I doubt it's my firewall as I spent many hours fixing it so that it would do IP forwarding to let me run a server, so I seriously doubt it's my firewall...

I'm gonna upgrade to the 1 gig anyway for my own reasons, if you want me to explain them i will but I don't think you really care that much.
