i wont yank your chain like a lot do here. I too, am an experiencedplayer and I also suffer the same fate online. I personally think it is something wrong with the game but seeing how it happens so randomly it's virtually impossible to record it or have anyone else believe me. So maybe it wont be found for a year and you just have to live with it, I guess.

My guesses is the following:
- sound is not synchronized to play
- server is lagging
- model hitboxes are errored
- server is crap even if ur ping < 100ms
- person is using an aimbot resulting in every shot a head shot
- i'm just having a bad day and there is a target on my head in big neon lights

I have noticed many times lately that this could simply be a sound issue. Because many times I will see someone running beside me firing their gun and I don't hear anything then all of a sudden the sound kicks in..(hmm I have an Audigy).If there was a flash of red to accompany the sound for when you are hit I think it would help for this problem.

I have been killed with one shot more than once.. there are great players out there, and if they snipe, say goodbye...
I also have shot players that I can just barely see with an AK or MP5 or just about any weapon and dropped them like a fly.... is it my great skill, no... if I can see the outline of a player, I shoot for the head, just above or just below sometimes.... nothing like taking a sniper out with an AK that has no scope from so far its not funny....
I die a lot from one shot and from lots of shots.... just kinda depends on the server.  I seem to think also that certain weapons work better on a server(could be the connection or map)... I can shoot till I am blue in the face with an AK and get no one, change to a different weapon and do 100% better...   next server or map, I may have to change again....
I will never be a great player, and I admire those that can play well...so some cheat...........probably, but I don't worry about them.. no use... and to tell the truth, I doubt if I would know a player using an aim bot or not, since I tend to worry more about the team and what I am doing rather than someone might be cheating.. but thats just me  

I believe there are more good players out there than there are cheaters! Cheaters are out there, but the majority of players are ligit and bitching here about cheating is getting reeeeeeal old- If you think someone is cheating, here's an idea: hit the escape key, then click on exit, then main menu- then find another server to play in. Oh and another thing, don't accuse people of cheating, a'ight? You don't know for sure that they are cheating and the accusations are insulting and annoying to good players who just want to play and have fun- In other words; cheaters really suck dirty doggy Uncle Jack and they can ruin a game, but accusers can also ruin a game so just shut your holes and pull your triggers-  

Sure its not always cheats of course but you must admit therfe are many instances where you have a BS moment with not explaination

I also get killed with one shot a lot of times, but knowing that I killed more people with one shot than I got killed that way still makes me feel a little good about it.  

When I am killed with one shot, it is usually up close and personal. And most of the time it is when I round a corner and I am looking the other way and BLAMMO! off comes my head! LOL

There was a night last week when someone was calling me a cheat..I'm not of course, then all of a sudden I kept running into him repeatedly. I would blast him with the shotgun or something and he got even more pissed. I almost felt bad for a second.

i usually kill in 1 shot...sometimes 2...but thats tops
