All I can say is Wow!  Nvidia always has something up their sleave to blunt an ATI new product launch.  This is it.  These drivers are a quantum leap in speed and have excellent image quality!

I installed the drivers and used nvHardPage to reset all my settings (antialiasing, vert. sync, etc.), and I gained less than 5 fps in the SOF2 timedemo. The driver might come with some defaults settings that can help performance for some (who didn't tweak their settings themselves), or it's just that it doesn't help for my older (MX 400) card :(

Wow. I went from 10600 to 11340 in 3dmark. Not a bad jump at all. Haven't run the time demo yet.

I was running at 640x480 with the old drivers, I installed the new det 40, and my fps in the timedemo got worse(by 1 fps). Then I raised it to 800x600, it got better, then 1024x768. Now I get better fps at 1024x768 then I did at 640x480 with the old drivers.

These drivers rule!
