Well i downloaded the patch and did a fresh install of sof2, went to apply the patch and got a weird message.

Old file not found. However, a file of same name was found. No updates done since file contents do not match.

Now i was really annoyed by this as i got the game 2 days ago and was told that this patch would fix a few probs also it would add the mp5. But dont have any idea why it wont install.
I even redownloaded the patch to make sure it hadnt got corrupted somehow. The game works but want this #### patch to work.

Any ideas??????

it sounds like u have modifed some of ur sof2 files, try reinstallign the game, and try running wiser 2 (see sticky @ top)

Have you modified the .exe in any way? (i.e. nocd crack)
What version of SoF2 do you have?

Did you ever alter your sof2.exe file? Are you using a illegal copy of sof2? Cause the patch only works with the original sof2 exe file.

Well i dld that wiser prog and it says that some files arent originals but i havent installed a no-cd crack but the funny thing is it doesnt ask for a cd??? I bought this off my neighbour after him buying it and it not working on his computer so i know its an original (2 cds, and has all that talking in the install about russians and scientists or something). So um what the ####?? Oh and its version 0.13..

You always know its a fake when they giv eyou along ass story about where they got it and its not including a store...... hmmm

Version 0.13 has never been for sale - go buy a copy.
