Well i just got done playing this game.. What a trip that was! LOL..never killed a sole I agree. very slopy physics! Terrible.. One thing i have to say is the game definately has potential. A WWII game with the ability to drive tanks, jeeps and planes..Holy! I was having so much fun. Hardly ever got off the ground with the plane but man..that jeep sure goes! LOL

The most trouble I had with something in this game is trying to get out of that #### little boat!!! Am I the only one that couldn't jump out of it for minutes?

i'm waiting for the full version. as i was about to start the download i read about the 60 hz thing...can't do it. if it is fixed (and a couple other very annoying sounding bugs) in the full version i'll pick it up. looks to be a blast from the movies i've seen.

Its a great game and all, and i'll probably buy it, but I think SoF2 is better. I get strange skippy things whenever I enter/exit a ladder. The only things I'm any good at is sniping and flying, and I hate sniping. I just found out that it was possible to land the airplanes, so i've been having fun doing that. I don't like your voting options, either it rules, it sucks, or you haven't played it. I would like an option of They are both good in their own ways, or they both rule.

It is not laggy if you find a good server. Most are just little cable servers on little Johnny's Dell. The guns are very accurate if you find a good server. You have to lead shots when firing far away, like the flak guns at planes. On a laggy server, you can't hit anything....even if you do.

your poll with its biased answers does indeed compare bf1942 to sof2, when in my opinion (and that of a bunch of other people) they are totally different types of games.

even tho it's your poll with your rules and all its bias makes it one that doesnt hold much meaning to truly inquiring minds

but yes i think bf1942 is going to be a #### fine game. i loved the tribes series and this one seems to me to be a tribes-type game but with more realism and better gameplay.

Lol, you say that its what sof2 should have been, yet you say its a totally different game. That makes sense. The draw distance is further because its a terrain engine, not a BSP engine. Ive played it and while its cool, I prefer the man to man combat over the vehicle stuff. Also if you think the guns miss and there is lag in sof2 then omg you must be ranting all over the 1942 boards because even on a LAN my rifle wouldnt hit what I was aiming at. All in all the game is well done, its just not for me and I really dont see a way to compare the two games. As for your poll, its usless because there its 100% biased towards 1942 and gives no way for us to say we dont like it. Therefore, this poll is closed.
