I figure leave it for a little while.  If it gets too chaotic, we can split it later, but having coders, mappers, and so forth able to have the extra communication that a single forum gives would have its own definite advantages.

To whoever started this: great idea to put [CODERS] in front of threads involving coding questions. I'd like to see that used for [MAPPERS], [MODELERS], etc.

Then after a while we can take a quick look at the forums and see exactly what subforums should be created.

Thanks!

Ive had another idea on what we could do for this site. If you have ever been lurking around flipcode (www.flipcode.com) or gamedev (www.gamedev.net) then you might have heard of contests such for coding and things. Well i had an idea that would be really nice for mod teams. Say that you have a page in which people sign up (teams of 6 people). You then release a idea for a small mod w/ general discriptions. Then you give them a week/month. Then a panel of judges look over the small mods. Then we post the winning people in some catogory. What do you think?

Most mod teams are already stretched rather thin trying to make sure there own projects come off the ground -- might be distracting to do something along those lines. Don't get me wrong, it'd be cool to see happen. The reality of the issue is that most of us are already a tad bit busy
