Hello, I upgraded my SOF II with the new upgrade v1.01. The multiplayer plays fine, but when I try to do the single player it does not start up. Is there a known bug in the upgrade? I am running Windows 98 os my pc has the following hardware: AMD-K6-2 550, TNT2 32mgs, VIA chipset, and a AUREAL sound card. This has been going on since the upgrade was installed. Thanks for the help.

I don't Trust the K6 how much ram do you have. I seen it play on a geforce 2 32mb not sure on the tnt2. but i still dont like the sound of k6. also you didnt stat if it worked before

Thanks for answering. I have 256K DRAM. When I first picked up the game. It worked fine with no problems. When I upgraded with the patch, thats when single player mode stopped working. The multiplayer version works fine. There are no lock ups on the system at all.

Can you download the following application and run it? It will take quite a while to run but will tell you if your installation is corrupt at all. http://sof2.ravensoft.com/downloads/wiser2.exe If any files are bad you can try cleaning off your cdroms and either manually copying the files or reinstalling the game.
