The inbuilt server doesnt load and i have the patch. i got SOF2 yesterday!!! any help?

can u give us more information about the problem, what ur trignto do, what actualy happens, etc

I got windos Xp. I cant remember my drivers it aint them though.
Iv installed the game but put the wrong CD key in i think or it might be right.But iv got the disk an the key by it when i load up sof2MP. It might be that but the inbuilt servers wont load the list and it is on internet with show full and empty and its set to see all the game types. *deep breath*
And the server will say connecting to server no matter what. *I got up to 312 before i gave up*

And SP will work...............
im already starting to dislike Sof2 and iv had it a day        

Are you running a firewall or behind a router that may be blocking traffic on ports 20100, 20110 and 20112 ?

NO and the MP test workedd fine.......

is xp's personal firewall turned on?

make sure in the server screen it reads "internet" and not "local". Default is "local"

Where is Xp's personel firewall?
And i clearly said i had the game setting on Internet.
I need it to work because im not spending all that money just to get a Single player game *sigh*
   

go to network connections, select ur connection  (usualy ur modem or nic) then properts, advanced and see if its enabled, if it is u might be better disabling it and getting zonealarm much easier to configure and alot better (there is a free version of it)

well it isnt behind a firewall.......
the box is unchecked.
