Oh, never heard that one in America. When I was little I used to steal straws, for spitwad throwers in class. Thye are also fun for shooting things at people in movies. (I'll never grow up.)

I take straws from McDonalds by the handful. Never need to buy them again. And, I don't feel ONE BIT bad about it, considering how many times they've screwed up my order, and shorted me a burger or two! In my mind that makes us even. When I was about 8 me and a friend used to steal handfulls of Sugar Packets (from next to the coffee pots), and get buzzed off them.

Ahhh the glory of stealing sugar packets In 4th grade, we had a field trip to the local icerink. After we went skating, and were on our way out, we were aloud to take a drink by filling up the coffee cups with water. Me and some friends didn't like the blandness of the water so we grabbed handfuls of sugar packets, dumped them into the water and dubbed it "suga wata" Everytime a class takes a fieldtrip to the icerink (we do it several times a year) the students come back with pocketfuls of sugar packets. We started a tradition that day we did And plus, sugar tastes good
