Over at the Red Orchestra mod, we are looking for new mappers to join our staff. We have gone through stages of losing more members the never, and getting new ones. As Lead Mapper, I will be looking for new mappers to join RO, if you are interested e-mail me at SyntexAssaulter@hotmail.com. You must have frequent knowledge of Q3Radiant or GTKRadiant. And also must have common/intermidiate knowledge of mapping for the SoF2 game. Again, Email me with examples of your work. Screenshots are nice, but the map downloads would be better! - SatansSon

You need to start somewhere TONS of people "in the industry" now were hired off mod teams. Just look at Apoxol, previously from SID and the Urban Terror mod..

And SweetnutZ who has been hired by Raven too, also from SID (Urban Terror) Or take a look at the Ritual staff page, tons of modders there. I guess if you want to get in the gaming industry as a mapper modeller or skinner modding is the way to go
