kewlness. My local Blockbuster here in Australia has tons of LOTR dvd's and vids up for rent allready...still the 5th. So I got me one...even better it's a 3 day rental. joy,I never got to see it at the movies..so here goes. inserts DVD bbl.

...well, that movie was pretty special! here's a mini review. Wow,great movie.heaps of cool scenes.Some of my fave parts were the Dragon Firecracker,the Cave Troll fight, the bit when the 'Lady of the Forrest' became all powerfull, and ,because I love a good scare,I liked it when Bilbo bugged out and snatched at the ring from Froddo.Whoa that made me jump back in my seat. Should you buy it? I don't know,I'd wait for the 'Special Extended Directors Collectors Edition' (that's not what it's called but it's close) They put a sneak peak of it on this DVD and it tells how it will be 4 disks with 30 mins extra footage in the movie specially made for the DVD and new soundtrack. They call it the companion to the original cut,so I guess true fans would want to buy both.But if it's to be one or the other then I'd say wait till November.
