I am in 2 minds to buy it or not, from the vids and screens of it I like the look of it, but the reviews have been less than good.

Has anyone got or played it?

Ive played it a little, seemed ok from what I say, and if your a Westwood fan you should have it just to say you have.

Get a demo and try that, always a good way to tell if you'll like a game or not.

You should if you haven't. I thought it was fun, but it didn't run to well on my machine and the the netcode seemed pretty bad (lots of lag on every server, alot of weird disconnections) but that is probably already fixed in a patch

I own it... Really, really fun... Plus you get to drive all sort of vehicles.  Shouldn't be too pricey since it's been out at least 6 months now.  Great FPS.

most everyone on renegade like playing the demo (even if they have the full game) cuz the full game is way to laggy trust me on this one dont get it if u dont want to waste money u can always download it somewhere

I've always wondered, if you D/L a full game through like kazaa is it illegal for you to have it, or is it only illegal for you to help distribute it?

I would think that'd be obvious...

Before the thread is closed, I'd like to add that I own the game, too, and IMHO it is the best team game out there - at the moment I'm too busy to play at all, but when I got it my brother and I were playing it all day long - he in the next room, both of us connected to the same Internet server muhahah, for example I was the tank driver and he my passenger shooting at bad NODies

The story rocks too; it's really a good game for a change!
