I have just got SOF2 and am not sble to play single or multiplayer dues to these main comments that come up in the console: Shutting down cmShaderTable ..... Unsupported marker type 0xdf Freeing shader text ..... Unsupported marker type 0x49 Shutting down cmShaderTable ..... Unsupported marker type 0xdf well i just found out this only happens on certain maps because i was playing multi on a jungle map then a dark desert map and didn't get dropped but then some map called air1 i got dropped so yeah anyone be able to help me PLEASE!!!!!

uninstall software... remove all registry keys... then reinstall. You have corrupt reg keys. You must remove them or the reinstallation with not work.

That error has nothing to do with registry keys. Can you download the following application and run it? It will take quite a while to run but will tell you if your installation is corrupt at all. http://sof2.ravensoft.com/downloads/wiser2.exe If any files are bad you can try cleaning off your cdroms and either manually copying the files or reinstalling the game.

I am getting the same error as well... however - I think it has to do with my CPU or HD as I have been getting system crashes as well. I can play Sof2 no problem then it crashes. Alot of the time I am crashing on a level change but other times it's in the middle of a game... the map has nothing to do with it either. I ran the wiser2 and everything checked out so my files are not corrupt. This is driving me crazy but it happend on Elite Force also so I doubt it's just SOF2 I'm running Win2k an Athlon XP 1900+ and every driver is up to date.
