Every time I try to run a game (new game or random mission) in SOF2 it laods to about half way then quits and the console shows this message: Freeing shader text ..... Not a JPEG file: starts with 0x08 0xc8 Does anyone know what the problem is? I tried installing the patch but that doesnt seen to work. My specs are: Windows XP AMD Athlon 1.2 GHz 256 MB RAM nVidia GeForce2 MX 64MB

I ran the program and it told me i had some files which were incorrectly installed. so i copied the files directly from the cd but still getting the same problem. any other ideas?

Try techspot.com and download SoF 2 Tweak guide. This help alot of problem areas.
