couldnt the raven guys just make a patch that detects what kinda card/driver youre running and should the "im a cocksmoking manjockey" device or whatever be present it would disable mp?

The drivers create a sort of hardware wallhack by having an option to render certain textures as transparent, or render everything in wireframe, etc.  There are a number of ways both officially released and hacked drivers do this.  I think Asus went the transparency route....?  Anyone know?

well..this is bullshit..right when i get new computer ready for gameing a huge hack comes out..but i highly doubt it will spread much..most of you should pass this petition around chat rooms..yahoo online gameing rooms ect..other huge forums ..bla bla bla..

The really sad thing is that there has been a few cvar hacks out well before this driver hit the "net". You can run a wall hack with out a specfic card or driver...

But, not a whole lot that can be done about it, so i just play on, most of these hacks, just want attention, so i just don't give it to them... mabye one day someone will write a secure client/server app/mod/object that will stop this, but until then its best to just learn to live with it and try to have fun...
