please could u help me. I start up the game and click on new game or load game and it goes onto the loading screen and then anfter about 3 seconds goes onto the console with a weird message: Failing to initialize suit_sleeves.glm! Check to see the the model is OK! This is what it says. Please help ive installed the new patch and it dosnt do anything!! Please Help. Thanks Specs AMD Duron 850Mhz geforce 2 mx/mx400 Windows XP 256MB RAM

Did you have this prob before? Did you try re-installing the game?

I have reinstalled it twice and it does exactly the same message: Failing to initialize suit_sleeves.glm! Check to see the the model is OK! As u see iam running it on windows xp but sof2 needs direct x 8.1 to run but direct x 8.1 isnt for windows xp or when i try to install it dosnt install. How are other people running the game on windows xp. This is very frustrating

Hello kei I don't know why you are getting the error you are but don't worry about not being able to install DirectX 8.1. It is included with Windows XP so it is already installed. -AutoPilot

Have you run the Wiser2 program in the topic link provided by Pagen as it looks like during install some of the files didn't get copied over correctly. If any of the .pk3's come up as Corrupt Delete them Run Defrag & Scandisk Copy them off the CD directly to the SoF2 Base folder .pk3's are split between the 2 CD's in each ones setup\base dir CD1 -> models, mp, musicandsound, skins & therest CD2 -> maps,textures0 & textures 1234

ok iam back! i try to copy the skins pak 3 file from the disk and it says it cant because it has an invalid ms dos function what does this mean? is this the problem with the weird console message??

Dos error on XP I thought MS had dumped Dos or was it the Dos-shell (I can't remeber) in XP, as I only have 98SE. Was XP full install or upgrade ? & What copy method did you use ? I normally open 2 windows and drag file from CD to Directory myself.
