everytime I see smoke like from explosions or even busting up a box the smoke always has lines in it. it really looks like crap. is it because of no AA or anything? I have a P4 1.5GHz, 1G PC133, and a geforce4 ti4600

Sorry I cant help, but I have the same problem. Everytime I see smoke effects there are like lines, or more like little boxes in the smoke. Its hard to explain. In the Kamchaka (sp) level most of teh snow has these lines/boxes in it and it looks like crap. Anyone know what this could be?

Are you OC your video card? It might be artifacts. I have a Geforce 2Ti & don't see this effect.

I played SoFII with a GeForce 2 MX 200, a GeForce 2 GTS and a GeForce 4 Ti4400 and there weren't any problems. None of those cards were overclocked and used the latest nVidia drivers.

Hi I have the same funny looking smoke effect, like lines or boxes flying around. Seems to be a issue here. GeFroce 3 driver 30.30
