I noticed on the list of server that some servers have very long names and others like mine are unable to exceed a length before being chopped off.

Is this a setting that can be changed on the server?  Please advise this is most frustrating.

Couple things to take into consideration:

Depending on what game server finder you use, sometimes your server name will be cut short (as is the case with the in-game server browser), while other browsers, like ASE, will display many more characters.

The other thing I noticed is that if you are adding color to your server name, then that characters you use for the coloring count towards the server name display character max.

I noticed this in the in-agme browser - without color I could make my server name nice a long, but if I added a few colors, the name was cut considerably shorter.
