I just noticed a post where a guy was talking about players shooting one or two shots into their own teammates. After I read this I noticed this happens quite frequently when I am in CTF or Team games with FF on. I've been in some games recently where my teammate will shoot at me and wound me (leg shots) sometimes at the beginning of a round and I turn around and he walks away from me or shoots me one more time and runs. Are these guys being a smarta$$ or is there some strategy behind this?

No, there is no strategy for this.  These people are doing nothing more than being asses.  If the server admin is there, bring it to their attention in hopes the player gets kickbanned.  Otherwise, call a vote to kick them and explain what they are doing.

Most of the FF servers I play on hate TKers and will kick them instantly.

Or when the team mate you're standing next to asks "Hey, is FF on?". It never fails, before he even gets an answer he's going to place a few shots in your back to test. That really annoys me.

I hate it when someone on my team kills me.  One time, a guy on my team was sniping, I came up and got a rifle and was going to snipe with him, but the ass turns around and shoots me.  So then I respawned and went after him.  I shot him twice and then knived him to finish the job.  Then he came back and shot me with a shotgun and then he exited the server.

I hate bastards who shoot you and then say "I didn't know if FF was on"
I ALWAYS assume it is. And play accordingly.

Having ff on in somegames sux ie demolition and inf because i have come across someone in demolition shooting his team m8 that wa defusing the bomb just so he could collect the points for himself then the first thing the player that was killed does is go after the guy who shot himso we end up 1 or 2 players down from the start  

there are some people who rejoin a server before they get banned...

It happend on a server wich I was on sunday... Voting was off FF was on..

They were saying that Teamkilling is more fun then deathmatch because the people start in clusters... So, after killing almost a whole team they (yes they, about 3 of them)rejoined the server and started over again..

The thing we (the other players did) is shoot the TK'er so he can't participate in that particular round...

It sucks... they say its fun,  bah....  

Yes it is an strategy shooting people on your own team, to be the player with the most points on your team. I guess some people don't care about the team winning or losing as long as they get their points. Cuz if your own team mates are wounded they won't kill as many people, that's how simple it is.
I really don't mind it if my team mate accidently shoots me or even kills me, because accidents happen. Ok, if it´s a grenade it´s annoying cuz people just have to watch out with these things.
One thing that I also can´t stand is that people on your team get pissed right away when one of your bullets goes flying off into their leg or something. One time this one guy killed me twice because I one time hit him in a fire fight because he walked right in between me and an enemy. I mean come on, it´s just a game to have fun with so why get so pissed about it.  

i hate when they do that, if they want to shoot me on purpose they had better finnish the job and get 2 points taken off their score!! insted of mortaly wound me so i dont have a chance against the opposing force
