Well, dont be a stupid ass when your playing on someone elses server. Pretty simple huh?
You have another thing coming if you think that just because you purchased the game that you can play on whatever server you want. WRONG.
Dedicated servers are put up by other gamers for their use. Some are closed to the public via a pwd. Others are open to the public, well most of the public. Ignorant, bigoted, team killing, wankers have a way of being weeded out.
If you are an Ignorant, bigoted, team killing, wanker then you will likely soon find yourself without any place to play. In fact, to make things easier... if you are one of the above... just post your IP address here so that you can be banned before you even make it to the servers. Save everyone a great deal of time.
And there is no reason that permanent bans should be disabled. If you disrespect someone, on their own server, you can bet your arse that they should be able to keep your goofy arse out. Just because you run a game server does not mean that you have to deal with the dregs of society 24/7. Admin's want to play too, and babysitting their server to keep morons off gets old. Better to be able to remove them once, rather then having to do the same bans week after week after week. |

Well, if you are truly a good, ethical player, you will unfortunately run across a small handful of crappy admins who abuse their power too much or get childishly angry when somene beats them.
They do own the server and have the right to be an ass, so you gotta add them to your "server ban list."
The pendelum swings both ways in the gaming world, but what it boils down to is the fact that just because someone can be an ass doesn't mean they should. If you are a player and an ass, you will be quickly banned. If you are an admin and an ass, you will soon find your server continuously empty. |

I really don't think this is the place to be posting banned players IPs or servers 'that ban for no reason' IPs. However this certainly doesn't stop players from sharing their experiences with bad servers elsewhere nor does it say admins can't share their banlists with other admins elsewhere. Just not going down that road here on this forum.  |
