i'll go with the in-game.  i've never used roger wilco, but i love the voice support in cs.  i used it all the time.  great if your team isn't a bunch of no0bs and know how to use the mic.  and if you don't like this "option" you can always turn it off.

The fact that RW doesnt display WHO is speaking or where they are speaking from makes it a pain in the ass.  You have to identify yourself every time you talk, and say where you are before you actually say what you wanted to say about the enemy or whatever.

Not to mention the fact that you have to set up the basestation before joining, and have everyone you want to talk to join, then pray that you can get on the same team.

Granted, thats not a problem for ladder matches, where you know you will all be on the same team... but it makes it a pain in the arse for public servers.

me being a purist old-skool gamer, something deep inside still nags at me that it is cheating to use voice comms. so i don't. that's just my personal preference though.

in my opinion, the features already embedded in sof2 are more than adequate. from giving locations while communicating in say_team mode (on non-rmg maps) to the "under fire" voice recordings, i think it's possible to adequately communicate your position and situation to your team using existing features.

#### Yeah I want it! I'm sick of the bind key setup which doesn't say it out loud. We need communications Raven!

i've only really starting using RW since SoF2 came out, and I quite like it.  Playing on public servers with a couple friends, I just invite them to my channel and only talk to the guys I know.  Whereas if it were an ingame voice comm, then you usually end up with idiots just saying crap all day long.

In game voice like CS / HL?

God no, just imagine listening to Freakaloin while playing - nightmare.

RW is okay, because you can use it to chat to m8s, quality is debatable, and *can* lead to cheating (spotting for each other), but I'm sure you're all to honest for that ;)

Can't see how anyone would consider this cheating.  In the real world every organized law enforcment, Military, and Mafia, use communications.  No Special Force or SWAT team could be effective without it.  I think it adds realism to the game.  Now if your ghosting and using Voice Comms then shame on you.

Yes I did, and it was a joke. Infact, I had it turned off in the options - wasn't very useful, certainly not on the open servers, just a way to increase lag :/

c'mon, you never used this:

chchchcht, "BOMBSITE A!" chchchcht

not cheating and is stradegy.

i never experienced any lag from voice support.  sometimes it didn't work to well for me and if raven implaments this into the game i hope it works and sounds really good.
