i did the test thing again - it stops on music and sound - but i havemanually copied that file from the cd to the base and it was the same kb anyway !!!

all it takes is for one 0 to be a 1, the file size is the same, and the file is corrupt,

clean the cd try again, also if u can try copying it in dos.

if it still does not work u could take the cd's back and get replacement ones and see if thoes work

i ran wiser2 3 times and it say "all files are correctly installed as version 1.02" but when i start up the MP it still wont load correctly.  i still get a white flashing screen.

So, even if you run the 1.02 updater, and the installer verifier says it's verified as 1.02, but the game still says 1.01, is it really 1.02? The first time I installed the game, after running both patches it showed at 1.02, if I remember correctly, but now, it still shows as 1.01(again, even though the verifier says it's 1.02). Do I need to try the 1.02 patch again, or reinstall?

I am new to this forum and having problem with SOF2 Gold Edition.  I've run the checker file and it did say that "the installation is incorrect.  Read the readme file for details."  But which readme file is she is talking about?

This thread, the bit in the first post that tells u what to do if it finds an error.

I just bought SoF2 Gold Edition at semi bargain price.  Just wanted to let you know this post helped me.  I first installed SoF2 from my CD-RW drive and after doing the checker it said I had currupt files or something.  I then reinstalled again from my DVD drive and after running the proggie again it passed and I could start the game.

I have sof2 gold edition and I got this problem...I ran wizer and it says some files are corrupt or something...How did you guys solve this problem???
