Do you know if these pictures are from a beta version of the game or from the almost-final version? It looks like there are some finer points missing in those pics such as defined lighting and texture blending.

You have a point there. This must still be a beta version they are using. If you go here you'll see that all the pics are showing the same characteristics. Cheers
