Make sure you backup your config file first, just in case.

I did all these and my ping (cable modem) has dropped from 40/50 down to 20/30,  but you are far more suceptable to LAG.   I think the high RATE, takes up too much of the available bandwidth, and it tends to be you who suffers not the others.

com_hunkmegs "128",  does help loading 45mb isnt much definitly increases load time on the 2nd connection to a sever 1st connection it is getting seta,,,,

seta cg_forceModel "1"           // Forces One model in DM, minimizing loading
seta cg_crosshairGrow "0"      // Prevents Crosshair from growing when shooting, 1 to enable

and the reason for using it is??

the numbers 0-4 corispond to the texture sets, there is no texture set for 5, so either its not actualy doing anythign diferent than 4, or its having to convert the existing textures.
