Hi, I am Darkcow.
I would like to add (and for you to add) my experiances with the loved/hated mp5. If is a very good weapon for specific as well for general tasks.
PROS:
Silenced: (duh) can be used to confuse enemy to your where abouts at long range, and at med with proper cover.
accurate: It is my favorite weapon for popping heads with because of this. The burst setting is an okay"ish" setting for this weapon, altho I recommend auto or single (long range).
deadly: The power of this weapon is enormous! It has a better ROF than both and a power somewhere imbetween the AK and M4. This, coupled with its accuracy when bursting makes it a deadly punch.
CONS:
Autoshottys, if not properly dealt with at long range can hamper you ability to aim well and increase your chances of dieing. To prevent this at close range, pick the pumpshotty as your secondary and bunny your way to his demise.
snipers, ahhh! The bane of any gun can be the bullet of a well skilled sniper, to combat this, carry smoke nades or flashes. I prefer smoke because I catch my own nade alot.
bursting AK's, ok, these guys can be hard if they get the first shot on you. Because now your moving slower and your aim is ruined! to combat this, use smoke nades to confuse the enemy to your position, then reallocate to a position to flank your foe, or at least suprise him!
M4 nades, ahh! the noob laucher! To combat this deadly threat, be very unpredictable to your movements and when he DOES launch the noobism, he is vunerable, charge him without mercy.
other MP5's: to combat other mp5s you need to see how far they are away from you. If they are charging, let off a few rounds and seek cover, pull out your pumpshotty and await footsteps. If you hear none, you are either being outflanked or "walked" apon. Release a smoke on you position and seek better ground.
Please, everyone else add to this, because I am in no way a master of the mp5 and would love to hear the words of the elite few. These are justr my experiances, not the best, not the worst. Thank you. |
