Run your mapcycle file through the file validator Apoxol created. You can get it here

http://games.eof.net/sof2/files/sof2cycle.exe

Put your mapcycle file and sof2cycle.exe in the same dir, open a DOS window and change to the directory in which these files resides and in the DOS window type

sof2cycle.exe -verify ctf.mapcycle

it will check your mapcycle file to make sure it pasts muster. Perhaps you have added whitespace in your mapcycle file. Its very picky about it. No white space, no extra spaces, no mismatched quotes...otherwise itll say it cant find it.

I've been fortunate enough to never have mapcycle problems when using SOF2 Runner with Linux. I just make sure that all of my files are in /sof2/base and not /sof2/base/MP.
