A Pure server runs the game and maps without any type of alteration whatsoever. By moding his sounds, Fragger implies that he will not be able to join a pure server. Pure servers are better because they don't allow for mods or hacks, or atleast greatly reduce the risk.

If your .pak3 files don't exactly match that of a server that is running pure 1, you will not be able to join that server. Hardly worth altering a sound file that is fine the way it is. Just my opinion of course.

i added it to a pakfile named zmp5.pk3 and it works fine, on unpure servers you get a cool new sound and on pure servers it just uses the old sound.
