Oddly enough, this worked for me. I bought the Sims for her when it first came out and now she plays the it non-stop. Of course, it means that I have to buy her every patch that comes out for the Sims (will it ever end?!?), but it’s a small price to pay to be able to play what I want as long as I want.

She used to love soap operas, especially the really over the top American ones, but now she plays the Sims as a sort of soap opera simulator instead.

Dude! Just wait 'til The Sims Online comes out. You may never see your wife's face again, except reflected in the monitor!

Mine used to complain but now she plays as well, and enjoys it..she gives an evil little chuckle as she blows someones head/arm/leg off
