Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems loading this level, i have had no probs with the game so far, every other level has loaded fine.  I complete Prague:Outside and it jumps to the loading screen, the bar at the top fills full then nothing.  My comp is totally frozen and i need to reboot to get anything.

The weird thing is in the option to load a game from the start of the level, Prague:countryside is there so it recognises that i have completed the previous level.

I have tried reseting all video options to default, loading from the console, nothing works.

Has anyone else had this or any similar problem?  If so, how doe you resolve it, its driving me mad cos i cant work out why.

I am running on a Geforce 2 MX 400 64MB with an Athlon 500mhz and 128 MB Ram, Full DirectX 8.1.

Thanx to anyone who can even just suggest a possible solution.

Hi,

I got the game today.

I've got the same goddam problem with loading level 3

Did you already found a way to fix it?
Isn't there a feedbackform for singleplayer goddamit?

what operating system are you using on for this game as yer 128mb mem maybe the big cause as this game needs a flat 128 mb of free ram and if you are using WIN XP then that 128 will be haggled over with the game resulting in system crashes and locks as the PC runs outta vertual mem.

on the SOFII cd there is a help and support section for acivision that has Q&A sections to y the game maybe running slow crashing out and so on maybe worth consulting that to get a better answer. but it should tell ya basically the same i have but any help i can offer just either PM me or post on here

Ps There is an edit button i know yer new to the forum but plz edit posts rather than reposting things  look for the edit button next to the last post u added to edit and add things

Ok a big known prob from activision as in there help files is that PC's with 128 mb ram will experience low virtual mem probs as the pc runs outta memory....

XP uses 128 mb ram for its selfish needs

SOFII needs 128 for runnin proper

as sofII runs it clashes with XP and causes system to crash..

have u had the low vertual mem icon in the task bar if you have

https://activision.custhelp.com/cgi-bin....by=dflt

use this link to the activison support site for ways to change the way windows handle the vitrual mem this should solve yer prob all being well

yeah you can at start up wait till the varifying DMI pool data has come up on the screen then press F8 which will bring up a couple of options to boot WINDOWS XP PRO or WINDOWS 98 choose 98 and you should be able to boot up yer pc in windows 98

after a big hefty menu choose start windows normally and the 2 options should appear
