yeah I was kind of tired this morning.. I worked this last 3 months all night shifts.. I get a bit of a repreive and am on normal shifts until the new year. I want to get this new editor under my belt post-haste so that come the new year I can spend the wee hours when I'm still awake mapping.

I have a bunch of 1/2 started sof2 maps I am going to expand and port over to COD instead.

I have not gone and read through all the posts here as of yet.. but I'm assuming that since we are using Radiant, the usual limits apply? (Light Entities, models, etc)

Anyone know what to shoot for in the tris count for COD at all? The levels in game are a lot larger and it seems like this engine is better at high counts but I'm curious where the limit is.

I have one Kick-A$$ idea that I'm going to need either a fairly high poly per second, or a high tris count to accomplish. If I can pull it off in COD though.. it will be super sweet! Its one of the reasons I could not do it in SoF2 to be honest, because the poly per seconds were killing framerate.

So WTF is this map I speak of...?

We'll wait and see if I can pull it off [wink]

Open the Dawnville.map file and look around you will be amazed at what is going around in there. It is hard to decipher what is going around with all the types of tools brushes they used.
