Well, I managed to find a used copy of Painter 3D, but all it had was the CD and jewelcase.  As such, I have absolutely NO IDEA how to use it.

Does anyone know of any tutorials on Painter 3D, or would anyone be able to give a short explanation?  All I've managed to figure out so far is how to export from Milkshape as a .3ds mesh, and then import that .3ds file into Painter 3D.  Beyond that, I'm lost.

Thanks for any help anyone might be able to give!

Um, yeah...  :s17:  I'm quite familiar with internet searches.  However, unlike Radiant (in its various forms) and this forum, Painter 3D was apparently not very popular software, as evidenced by the following facts: a) it was rather difficult for me to find :s29: ; b) it was discontinued, and is unlikely to ever be re-released :s7: ; and c) when I searched the internet BEFORE posting my request, I found NOT ONE SINGLE TUTORIAL which directly (or indirectly, for that matter) addressed Painter 3D. :s26:

So, with that said, why don't YOU do what I already DID, which is hit the search button on your browser, type in painter 3d tutorial, and go through pages and pages of results pertaining to 3DS Max, PhotoShop, PSP, Poser, Painter (which is NOT the same as Painter 3D, you must keep in mind), and dozens of other subjects which are NOT Painter 3D.

If I didn't know how to do something as trivial as a web search, odds are I wouldn't need help figuring out how to use Painter 3D, 'cause I'd have never even gotten to the point of wanting to make models and skins for EF in the first place.  Heck, I wouldn't even be PLAYING EF, 'cause I wouldn't have known how to locate, download, and install the OpenGL files I needed to RUN EF.  Therefore, if the only help you can provide is to give me an explanation of how to search the internet, then please don't waste your time or mine. :s23:

Sorry, :0  we do get people here who, while displaying a high degree of inteligence, somehow forget to do a search. the sarcasm comes naturaly to me (and so I give it away at no extra charge). no offence intended. and as for not being able to find a tut, if it is out of production and did as poorly as you say, you most likly won't find one.
Astalavista doesn't even have a listing for it.
