I was wondering if agp aperture size is the same as graphics aperture size? Could anyone tell me! And , by the way, if i change it to 256 mb will it be a lot better?

Graphics Aperture Size? Never heard of it, is that what your BIOS calls it?
Hard to say whether changing it to that will help. You never listed what RAM, AGP Transfer Mode & Graphics card you have.

I have 128 mb of VRAM, and a Nvidia Geforce 2 mx400. I'm not sure what my agp transfer mode is though!

That might be referring to whether or not it is in 1X, 2X, or 4X mode. You want that at the highest setting that is supported by the card and motherboard.

If 4X works ok then use it, though 2X would be just fine too. As regards Aperture Size 64MB should be just fine. Though might wanna try 128MB too.
