In MP games, I see lots of people using special characters and SYMBOLS next to their names.  Ive seen letters with boxes drawn around them, ive seen sailer symbols and all sorts of special cool looking charachters.

My question is..HOW DO YOU DO THIS?  Where are they getting all these symbols and special charachters from??

When I first saw someone with the multicolored name and the really cool symbols in it, I went woooooooooow!  I had just gotten the game and right away, instead of playing it, I HAD to get the program to make my name all colorful.  After some searching through forums like this, I've found about a half a dozen, and even some ways to make your name colorful without a program.  Eventually, I've learned that the colored names are pretty much there only to make newbies like myself say wooooooooooooooow!  And serve absolutely no other purpose.  I'm still guilty of this crime, I HAVE to have all the newest skins and maps and mods.  I'm like a file jockey and then when I play the game with all my fancy skins and colors in my name, I end up getting killed again and again by the people who really play the game and not try to impress others with their internet surfing abilities to find all the latest files.  DOn't put any  more effort into the name program.  It's really not worth the time.

go to www.soffiles.com and download <DS>FunkyGuy's name editor is has all the colors and symbols to make you feel in tha loop..

Happy names are for people who like to impress newbies.. they go like "Woaaahh" (actually found that in someone's reply in another thread   )

If it's any consolation it won't help you play better, or strike fear into the harts of you foes.

I would have to agree... rather then trying to dazzle people with your l337 name, better to spend that extra time practicing online to make yourself a better player.

Much more intimidating to actually put the smack down on someone... then to look like you SHOULD be putting the smack down... but after a round or two its apparent that you have NO smack to put down
