on the server, if its dedicated then all u have is a console type
sv_allowDownload 1
in there, if the server is also a client then bring down the console (key under esc) then type it.

not sure if it will require restart or not...

for ppl who use same cdkey in the remote console type

/pb_sv_guidrelax 4

this will allow duped cd keys.

i have different copies of the game, I cant get on the same website either while my puters are on at the same time, we can indepenetly surf, but cant go to the same page at the same time, I have a NetworkEverywhere Cable/DSL 4port router model number NR041....mabe I dont have the router configured right....Im lost

the shortcut u launch ur game from, right click it select properties, in the target box after  the quotes add it there

One thing though... we could potentially have multiple Macs and PCs connected through one router.

Can this modification to the shortcut be accomplished on the Macs???

its been a long time since i used a mac, either if the yahve some way of passing command line arguments to an application then pass
+set net_port 20100
to it

or in the console type
net_port 20100
net_restart

that should save it to the config and use the new port,

press the key under esc and next to one at any time (except loading), i think its the same on macs, if not check what toggleconsole is bound to

   whenever im playing sof2 on 1 computer and my bro opens the sof2 on his comp it laggs me out of the server im in. and says "Unwanted Challenge Received. Ignored."
on my screen.?! and some times it says bad address type after it goes thru awaiting connection. or it will just stop on awaiting gamestate for one of us and the other will get in the server no problem, or when we both finally get in a server when one of gets kiked or leaves the other laggs out
i have a SMC router with DOS and SPI i dont want to enable DMZ it also has special applications ports which i can open. but i dont know which ones  HELP!!! ty
