OK - so this is probably a totally newbie question but I have just started the cambodia jungle bit (just got the game) and I canot seem to be able to pick up the sniper rifle.

I have tried dropping inventoried guns but to no avail. I even remapped the drop key. Also to no avail.

But in the single player demo version I got the sniper rifle fine?

Am I being a dimwit or has their been a change to game dynamics.

PS the new Ghoul II system really is quite impressive!

What difficulty level or what custom settings are you using for the game?

It's actually the Colombian jungle.

Cambodian jungle? What game are you playing? I guess that's why a lot of people start asking for help after 5 minutes. I've seen posts about the mansion in AFRICA, the rebel encampment in CUBA, the problem jumping to the balcony in JAPAN, the airport in FRANCE, etc.
Short attention span? Paint chips? ADD? Too much weed?

I am playing the game at gun for hire difficulty level, I have pretty much all of the graphics settings set at their highest levels and I have customized some of the movement keys and the jump key.

I really want to get that rifle but just can't.

And yes - I got the wrong jungle - sorry!

But no - I have been trying this for a few hours now and without the aid of recreational pharmasuiticals (sp?)

     

I would try to drop all weapons you have, maybe its working.

I can drop weapons in the instant action games but not in my single player games?

Weird.
