Has anyone actually beaten this game on Soldier of Fortune mode? No custom difficulty, no cheats, I'm talking straight up Single Player on Soldier of Fortune mode. I think it's impossible.

From what I understand, a few of the testers from activision were able to beat the game on SoF difficulty without cheats. So yes, it's possible, but very hard. All the more bragging rights for whoever can pull it off.

I can honestly say that I just now finished this on SOF mode. My son in law is almost done (and pissed at me for beating him). The trick is to go real slow and not <<< NOT use auto on any guns...you need your ammo. As for the final battle, well....too easy. Just for the record...I have been playing FPS for the past 10 years and I never play on anything but the hardest setting. This one took a month...3-4 hours a day...with some down days of course...like Autopilot...needed to get medical attention. I encountered very few glitches and only one hard crash...running top end system helps. Now to play GTA3 as I find DF series too tame. Also for the record...my wife thinks I am totally insane...I guess surround sound war noise can get to the uneducated....

I have just finished GTA3 and man it rocked! Not too hard though but just a blast to play. I think when I have beaten SOF2 I might go through GTA3 again

I'm keeping myself busy while waiting for the magic patch to appear somewhere and saw this thread. I remember reading somewhere that if you lean in the game, a lot of the enemies can't hit you. I guess there's a chopper somewhere in the game that's real tough and the guy stood out in the open and just leaned and the chopper didn't hit him once.

I started in SOF mode but i'm really pissed at the moment i always get killed but i want quit before i ####ed that game down
