I think it would be cool on RMG maps to have binoculars to watch enemy movements far away, so you could spot a big rush early and lead the way for your mates.

On maps maps like finca or shop they would have limited (if any) use, I think....

A zoom for the existing NV/thermal googles would make a good choice as well, but shooting should be disabled then (unless you got a sniper)!

Just make sure you can not fire your weapon when using the binoculars.

they shouldn’t have crosshairs anyway so shooting would be hard even if you could, plus the accuracy on anything but the sniper rifle would be hard to shoot zoomed in

I don't think they are helpful.  If looking for enemy movement, I can just look for small figures moving about.  Plus without binocs, you have a wider range of view, no tunnel vision.

If I want binocs, I'd take a sniper rifle.

If there were to be binculars, then you you should probably only be able to walk with them on. Same reasoning with walking when zoomed in with the sniper rifle.

Binoculars are only in singleplayer....it was my idea to ask if they should be adde to the mp part.

Seems that not much people agree with me :s7:
