I reckon they’d be good too.  But I do see that there are ways around seeing though binoculars in mp rmg maps.

Look for silhouettes works pretty well.

They're a must IMHO.
Unfortunately there are no third person or offhand animations showing people using them, so they'd look crap.

I think they would be a dumb idea. The fog in RMGS makes it so by the time you can even see anything coming you can start shooting it. And the normal raven maps are small enough where if you stopped to look with the binocs the person you see would have almost killed you already. So i think they would be dumb! But thats just me :D

i think they would be useful. maybe add another item slot for "weak" accesories. ive had lots of times i wish i could zoom in but i didnt want to sacrifice my assault rifle for a sniper. i wouldnt want to sacrifice my armor for binocs either.
through in a silencer or flash supressor for the rifles too. more accesories = more fun. im getting bored of the current outfittings. i like trying new things but i always revert back to the same old because it works best. a bipod on the m60 laying prone would be sweet. im just a dreamer!

What about if binoculars were added, but they let you see through the fog.  So, you could see much further with them.  Obviously not being about to shoot with them

They'd be almost magic in a way.  The fog is probably meant to decrease the line of sight since the maps are smallish, not neccessarily to be fog in that it's always foggy.  If that makes sense.

It might be too much of a change of gameplay, though.

Just a thought.
