Ok Raven, its the week of July 1st. Can anyone give us a time frame on this? New maps would be nice, MP5 is gonna be cool. But more importantly, BUG FIXES! Especially for those folks (like me) who can't even start the game! Plz Raven...Plz... :s29:

Cardboard floats, lol.

On a patch related note, this is why you need CS players around. We know better then to get our hopes up high for a patch to be released on time.

You have to understand that when they say a patch will be released at such and such time they are using Program management principles. They are looking at past projects and seeing how long those projects took and are basing the date they give to a release off of that.

They are also using Risk management to help them identify situations that may pop-up.

They have the following to take into consideration:

Product (What is being made)

Resources (Money, People, etc)

Schedule (What time frame to be completed)

Now if one of those items change, say they lose a programmer, then the others are going to be effected. The schedule may be thrown off, unless it adds more resources. If they can't add more resources, then  they could change the product (make it less) and release it on schedule. Or they could just let the schedule slip to the right.

One more thing to take into consideration is that each project is different. So while they did their best planning, something un-expected may have popped up, causing a delay.

They have not said that it will be delayed, but if by some chance it is, cut them some slack, they are trying their best. Have you ever seen any other game designers this involved with the community related to the game they are producing?

I'm bored.

Rambo, thats what I do. Did it for missile testing, Navy ship testing, etc. It is fun, but a pain in the butt.
