When running a server, how do you properly kick someone. It says to use their name, and I tried.. but some names have spaces in them and they can't be kicked using the name feature. Help please.

Ues their User IDs found under there names in the Score Tab.

or use the /rcon status command to find it.

once you have that just do

/rcon clientkick <User Id>

Oh yeah!  What banning a client from the console?  What would be the command for that?

Was told tho never tried becaue I used addip and did it through the Runner...

Be forewarned, though...until the patch is released, the g_banIPs cvar is limited to 255 characters (characters, not entries) and when that limit is exceeded, the server will promptly crash, and it won't start again until you open up the server.cfg file and take out a few entries from g_banIPs.

One of the fixes in the patch is upping the limit on g_banIPs to 4096 characters.  I believe the dev team has plans for a more robust banning system at some point in the future, as well.

hey guys how do i ban someone and kick them from trying to jion my server? they keep trying to connect but can't because of me setting the ping <300!!!! How can i ban them if they never really connect? hOW DO i GET THERE iP ADDRESS!!!
