Okay, this is the problem, when comming down the stairs to go to the new level, the textures become verry blurry (blocks and stripes) , altough the game has worked fine untill this.
i have copied the pk3 files from CD, and ran "wiser" but the problem remains.

who knows the answer??

post your specs too dude!. it might be graphics card specific...

Probably stating the obvious but what texture quality settings are you using & what graphics cards. If you have a NVIDIA GeForce cards ensure you've not selected DXT1 for the Image/Alpha Image Texture format, ues DXT5 instead.

No change so far. My specs are:

AMD 700
3D Prophet 4560
Win98 SE
512 MB sdRam
SB PCI 128

When I make a screenshot, it's so dark you can't
see anything.
The problem started when I went down the stairs and
changed from level and did have to go further down the
stairs. Everywhere blocks and stripes when I move.
I've tried to change from DXT 1 to CXT 5 but it's
still the same.
Also when I go to the next level (on deck)its blocks en
stripes everywhere in the dark (espesely in the dark!

I don't know what to do anymore

And I'm a girl and love the game! But its not pleasant
to play it like this
