Hope I'm not posting out of place, but I looked around and didn't see this one listed. Ok, this is weird, and its happened on three different pcs. Installed the game fine, but ran it and couldn't see through what appeared to be random images (big blocks) all over the place. Couldn't see a thing, and couldn't figure it out, so tried installing on a second pc (totally different config and hardware). Same thing, again! So now I install it on a third pc (again, a totally different hardware profile), and it is still doing it. But this time I spotted something specific that might give a clue as to what is causing this. Third install I actually ran the Training mission, and immediately spotted that everything looked normal so long as no sound was evident. The moment anyone or anything began to talk or make sound, the images would expand to cover large portions of the screen. The head of the guy talking to me during training would virtually explode with every spoken word, and reform when he stopped talking. It's those elements of the surrounding images, models, scenery, or whatever, that are expanding towards me and blocking my vision of almost everything. In the waiting room (just before training begins) the sounds of the girl typing really made a mess of the screen, but stopped if I turned to face the wall. Three different machines, so I know it can't just be a random thing or something to do with an individual video card (all were vastly different). Can anyone suggest how I may deal with this and make the game playable? Thanks!

In other words you gave your game to 3 people? Did you leave it on their pcs?

<Sigh> There's one in every crowd. No, I did NOT give my game to three people, not to mention your numbers are off even if you follow that assumption (since one would have been my own). Instead of leaping to inaccurate conclusions, couldn't you simply either offer assistance if you know the solution, or not criticize someone over facts you don't have? Sheesh, my very first post and I have to run into a self-elected net-cop with too much time on his hands.   :s29:  Why me...

That's the first time I read about that problem, but I know about bad installations. Try and copy the pk3s from CD2 into your BASE folder. That should fix it.
Never mind Buster, He likes to post just to get his numbers up. :s10:

Im not a net cop, I just simply hate people who burn or "steal" games. They ruin the game future. Im sorry if I have offended you.

Did you ever read the post where he said the game ran messed up? What good would it be even if it were able to run with a no-CD patch, any audio & the game messed up.
