Just wondering when you got your copy of the "BEST FAST PACED FPS" ?? I got the Platinum last year in october or november. Its my first ever FPS game, even first game I played on the internet.
I dont know if there were other versions but that should pretty much break it down correctly. Theres a choice "with SoF 2" because my SoF 2 copy came with SoF also...

Just last week! I'd bought SOF2 when it came out, taking a complete chance: fell completely entranced by its charms so I decided to get SOF1...thoroughly enjoying it and almost done, but keep getting mashed in the endgame. No real probs with its running, apart from I keep having to redetect my soundcard every game in order to get EAX to work. Only cost me a tenner(UK) and am a happy bunny.

First d/l SOF1 Demo in spring of 2000 I think, loved it and bought the game. Tried the SOF2 demo when it first came out and same thing. As I am not a hardcore gamer, SOF 1 & 2  are the only games I have tried and played online, and the only ones I have on my system. Great stress reliever, and fun when the fish aren't biting or too lousy out to play golf. Never did get into console commands, altering cfg files, etc. Never got really good, but never have the lowest score either. Just enjoy playing the game. My two cents. Later.

I got the game 2 weeks after it came out. A friend recommended the game to me, so I went out and bought it. I totally loved the game, and I would even say, I like it more than sof2.
