How difficult would it be to make a SoF2 benchmark program?. say one levell that adds up the FPS and gives out the average,the low and the high frames?. there are other games that have them are'nt there?.

yup, I'd certainly like to see a bench mark program that would let me know what to expect...

There is that open GL bench mark (56mb) (can't remember where) or something (any pc mag want to put that on their cover for a change?), it a 6 hour epic for me...

Please tell me it's relevent before I start..

no good for SoF2. different engine altogether. not that that means much nowadays either. RtCW & MoHAA were both (tweaked)quake3 arena engines, and both run liked a raped ape compared to SoF2

Have you tied jedi knight 2 in the swamp levels?

That kills my frame  rate  (reduction of 40fps at least) the frame rate is really good other than that.

OpenGL benchmarks would certainly be relevent for SoF2...  VulpineGL comes to mind.

comparing jk2 to sof2 is like comparing night and day..
jk2 doesnt have all the extras sof2 does,not NEARLY as taxing..
however...
 in the swamp level i got unplayable framerates when i  had my geforce 2 card 32 mb
when i got my geforece 4 i ripped right thru it.
u just need a better graphics card.
game will proboly work sweet 4 u horizontal once u do that

thought so...

would definitley like to see a recommended spec label on the box.

I'd still buy the game if I knew what I know now, but I'm dumb...
