Vulpine is'nt just a benchmark is it?. its a whole freakin game engine(that is'nt Quake3 {tweaked mind!'tweaked }'arena). how can it be relevent to SoF2?. if you get 90FPS at 1600x1200 with Vulpine, does that mean you'll get 90FPS with SoF2??.i think not!. the only way to bench a game nowadays is with the game~engine itself.

Chalk'n'Cheese init?... :s21:

Its like 3DMark. it means absoluteley nothing to any other app/game than itself. 3DMark is a benchmark that benchmarks a benchmark. if you know what i mean!!. the fact that it runs in DirectX is. well!, i would'nt say irelevent...., but not far off!. :p

thats why I'd like to see a SoF2 benchie. give peeple a real idea of what to expect on their machines. lets face it the specs are a bad joke!.

I dont play FPS unless they are a bit more 'real~worldy', weapons wise. i prefer a military theme to my slaughter  :s23:
I'm probly missing out on some good gameplay i know. I did'nt bother with MaxPayne cause it was 3rd person!. still!, theres always a dead spot for FPShooters sooner or later. i dont know what to play now!. i've finished SoF2. is'nt 'The Thing' s'posed to be out soon?. and ProjectIGI2?. what about Hidden&Dangerous2?.

Does any1 know of any other opengl benchmarking programs? I want to test if its my opengl setup giving me problems or not, changing resolutions in SoF2 does nothing, I want to see if an opengl benchmark does the same.

MoHAA and RtCW ran like crap on my system, even after upgrading from TNT2 M64 to GF2 Ti, thats why I uninstalled them.
Scince my previous post, I have found out my mobo is only AGP 1.0 compliant (i thought it was 2.0 and my card is now AGP 2.0). I'm getting some information and prices on new mobo's right now and HOPEFULLY this will fix my problem. I've read that upgrading mobo to AGP 2.0 compliant, helped someone with their probs...

That would certainly be a problem.
The person you're referring to is Wid. I discovered after looking up the specs on his board that the agp slot was 1.0 compliant. He's since gotten a new board and is a happy camper.
