Is there anyway to make it so in the CTF and INF gametypes, the flag or case can go out of the playable area but the player can still fall to his or her death. Essentially leaving the case or flag sittting at some spot close to where they died, but where a player can still get it?
I see the no drop in tools, but was unable to find anythiing showing me how to use it correctly.
TIA! (again)

the nodrop tool is for the areas that a player falls to their death.. the nodrop tells the game not to drop their weapons/nades at that point.

If a player falls to their death, the case gets reset to its original location.

AFAIK.. short of coding in a new mod, there is no way to change this behavior.

Its been almost a year since I asked for clarification on this, anyone got some sage advice or hints?
I still cannot stop the flag or case from going to an area of the map that players cannot get to. My desire is for the flag / case to remain at the edge of the carrier rather than go into the ocean when a player goes off the edge.

I have never used no drop as of yet. But as a guess i would say if you put a brush around were you dont wnat the case or flag to srop with NODROP then i will reset it to its startin place. The otehr question, Its not possable to make the flag return to were the nearest point!!

Thus far I have placed the no-drop brush along side the area where the player leaves the edge; over lapped the no-drop brush and the ledge; and tried a thin versus thick brush.
Nothing has worked thus far.
