Still no luck, I've tried everything you guys have told me to, and the toilet won't show. I've tried the spawnflags trick, My project settings are set correctly (as the tutorial tells me to) and so on. I still make the model, it's there in the editor(just a red block), but not in my compiled map. this map will look really dumb without the use of these models.

Oh, I've tried making it a static model to no avail still.

I had a thought...

Perhaps I'm trying to use SP models in an MP map?

I red in the FAQ that the Sp ones don't work with MP stages

Maybe?

witch editor do you use?
the 1.2.13 or one of the 1.3.'s.
because when you use for instance the 1.3.8, with that editor i also can't get models shown. but with the 1.2.13 it realy should work. i always make sp-maps, so i can't tell you witch models do and don't work in mp-mode.
and did you look by your project settings? is the basepath pointing to sof2/base?

I'm using 1.3.3920

Perhaps this will help?

The basepath is set to the SOF2SDK folder.

Like the tutorial told me to do here at the tutorial.

THanks

1.3.3920???
never have seen that one. i myself use the gtk 1.3.11, but i'm sp-mapping.
i think you can better download and install the gtk 1.2.13, nearly everybody is using that one, especialy the mp mappers. there are a few sdk mappers also here, but when you start now, i should say take the gtk 1.2.13,
here is the download;

http://www.qeradiant.com/index.php?data=dlselect&query_dlsel=1&OS_dlsel%5B%5D=1&Games_dlsel%5B%5D=6

download the 1.2.11 and the 1.2.13, then install the 1.2.11 and after it the 1.2.13. these are the latest and stable versions of gtk. sdk is also good, but very old. gtk keeps updating, also you can build with it for a hole lot of other games. also you don't have to extract everything like you do with sdk.
so, do this, it will take you about 5 to 10 minutes to download and install them, change in the project settings the sp into mp mode, if you want to. and your done. for sure you can find your toilet in your map when your playing!!!!!

succes,

ok.. few issues there..

#1.. your models should not show up as a red block..they should show up as the model

#2.. the Sof2SDK setup tutorial is NOT for GTkRadiant.. they are 2 different programs.

What's happened is that you have set your GTK to look in a Sof2SDK directory instead of the game directory, which means GTK cannot find any of its resources.

Completely uninstall GTK, flush it completely and re-install but do not follow the Sof2SDK install tutorial this time.

Base path (can someone with GTk check for exact path plz) should be set to the game's base path.

Brutus is correct; it is the base folder for GTK. This is set up during the install procedure, C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II - Double Helix GOLD\base (assuming you installed it to C).

However, since I (or Spy) have never heard of that version, I am assuming you are using SDK.

If you are using GTKRadiant, then let us know.

80 I merged 2 topics together, there fixed.

I was using the SDK version. Now I'm using the Downloaded one for SOF 2 but updated V 1.3.3966

YES, GTK radient.

I got the toilets to show, and I've clipped them... but they're black (in the game, during a test)... As if they don't have a proper texture.

once I do that, I'm all good I think.

Look at the SOF2 FAQs under tutorials to fix this.
