i was clear on it from the get go  .. all i did was point out some  free software that might help em find the bottle neck and help  find a way to get past it .. same way i did .. buy a better motherboard ..

I have a way of putting people over the top.  I guess it isn't really any of my business how some people come in here and treat you guys who try to help... and even wax pretty badly on the dev team who offer up their free time to help.

It is only a forum....  I should guard more at getting under people's skins.  Sometimes its tough not to jump in.  It is rewarding when I make a suggestion that helps someone.

I have nothing against widowmaker or any of the other people who have tried to help in this issue, But I am not going to stand and take an insult to my technical abilities from some Dell buying farmer. And for your information I have spent more than enough money on hardware. In fact the reason why i have this less then top of the line system is because I built a top end P4&GF4 for my fiance to use on her 3D modeling. In fact I have installed the game on her system and I get similar performance. I haven't tried tweaking hers yet and it may run better there. But I am here because my system which has been overclocked (already tried clocking it back down) and runs rock solid and has been for a year now. Not to mention the 2 other system I use for servers. As for tracking anyone down, there's nothing you can say that would make me waste that kind of time on you. I simply said if you want trouble you know where to come find it.
As for a select few having trouble, maybe you in your infinite wisdom could explain a few things.
1: Why have people from raven been emailing me directly trying to repro this problem?
2: Why are there several sticky threads at the top that are specifically about this problem.
3: It might just be me but I have seen more than a few posts about this problem from more than a few people.

Nuff said. Lock this thread down.

I think locking it down is a good idea.
